Creative Writer

Our client is a design and content agency operating globally.  They have clients from the east to the west coast of the US and right across Europe. They have just been appointed brand and initiative tool box agency for Wella after an international pitch process. They are also on the agency roster of P&G. They place a very high value on collaboration which is why this role is office based. The office is in Newcastle.

As well as brand communication which includes print and digital materials, they also create videos and animation on behalf of their instantly recognisable blue-chip clients. Their focus is on creating material that imparts information in the most creative, accessible way possible. They now seek a Creative Writer to develop high quality medical content that meets their clients’ goals and requirements.

As Creative Writer you will:

·       Produce a range of creative copy based on technical information for branded toolkits aimed at healthcare professionals consisting of editorials, advertorials, print adverts, e-newsletters, emailers, brochures and booklets

·       Organise material and complete writing assignments according to regulations, set standards and guidelines

·       Manage multiple project timelines, navigate competing priorities and cultivate strong internal and external client relationships

·       Confer with clients to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

·       Communicate medical information in an accessible manner

·       Adhere to project schedules, budgets and briefs

·       Collaborate with designers on direction of creative solutions to tailor content appropriately

As Creative Writer you will need:

·       A dynamic writing style, with an ability to tailor content to a specific audience

·       Strong time and project management skills

·       Ability to complete documents according to the client’s format, processes, and regulatory guidelines, i.e. on brand

·       Ability to communicate medical information in a clear and concise manner

·       To provide input into concept development, as appropriate

£33–41k pa
