Account Manager

Our client is an award-winning and market-leading North-East based digital specialist, highly focussed on the importance of mobile technology, digital strategy and user experience, delivering significant software development projects to a variety of organisations.  With an impressive portfolio of clients and strong record of growth, they are currently seeking to add an experienced Account Manager to their team.
 
Entering 2019 with further growth in client accounts and revenue, you will join the company’s Client Services function to help further develop strategic opportunities for new and existing clients in the areas of digital and software development.
 
As Account Manager you will:
 
• Facilitate client success by nurturing and growing new and existing client relationships
• Identify new opportunities with clients by developing a thorough understanding of their business
• Develop forecasts for expected revenue from existing clients/accounts and opportunities for additional business – including timing, resource requirements, revenue and risks
• Identify products or services within the Shout portfolio that may cross sectors or transfer from other industries to meet a client’s current or future requirements
• Arrange and participate in internal and external client debrief meetings and planning sessions
• Own the end-to-end client accounts from proposals through to contracts
 
To succeed applying for the Account Manager role you'll need:
 
• Extensive Account Management experience as Account Manager or Senior Account Executive within a digital or software development agency
• A demonstrable track record of successful client Account Management within the digital or software sectors
• A strong motivation for delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral – a confident communicator; adept in working with clients at the most senior level
• Confident with natural organisational, influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
• Proactive with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and desire to succeed
• High levels of attention to detail
