Full Stack Angular Developer - Contract

Our client is the financial consulting arm of an award-winning London-headquartered law firm.  Dynamic and professional, their highly-skilled team provide key consultancy services centred around the insurance marketplace. They are looking for a Full Stack Angular Developer to join their team on a contract basis. 
You will be a strong Full Stack Angular developer, used to delivering high-quality software to tight deadlines.  Working in the reinsurance field and closely with the actuarial team, you will be delivering bespoke solutions in a complex problem space.
Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the product owner, actuarial and testing teams to understand the requirements and build software solutions
  • Playing a significant role in the team, being actively involved in every step of the software development process
  • Primarily focused on front-end development but you will also be exposed to C# and SQL code so should be familiar with these
  • Providing any input you can into improving the software architecture and use of design patterns
  • You should be comfortable and experienced in working in an Agile environment in a delivery-focused organisation
  • If you are an excellent communicator and self-motivated individual, this is a great opportunity for you to build outstanding software
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Angular (2+) with TypeScript (or similar modern UI framework)
  • HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS
  • C#, Web API 2
  • SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (T-SQL, stored procedures)
  • SOLID Principles
  • Git with GitFlow
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2017

  • PrimeNG
  • Grapecity Wijmo UI controls
  • Dapper
  • DevOps (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy)
