Customer Service Manager

£28,000 to £33,000 / Washington / Mar 23, 2019

Our client is a well-established, profitable and rapidly growing manufacturing company headquartered in the North-East.  Due to continued growth and expansion, it requires a new Customer Service Manager to join its team.
As Customer Service Manager you’ll play a key role in:
• Leading and managing a team of Customer Service Advisors
• Effectively managing client relationships
• Driving improvement in Customer Service quality and efficiency, people and processes/systems
• Understanding and liaising with Sales, Design, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics and Installation teams, supporting the delivery of business objectives
• Reporting to/for and liaising closely with the senior management team

As Customer Service Manager you will need:

• Successful recent experience gained in Customer Service Manager or Customer Care Manager role - it is essential that this has been gained within either a kitchen, bedroom or bathroom supplier or the house-building industry
• Process improvement experience
• Ability and experience in training and coaching
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, decisive, solutions-oriented, highly cooperative and customer-focussed approach
• Strong IT skills and commercial/financial awareness
