Test Analyst

Our client is an award-winning and market-leading North-East based digital specialist, highly focussed on the importance of mobile technology, digital strategy and user experience, delivering significant software development projects to a variety of organisations. 
Entering 2019 with an impressive portfolio of clients and strong further growth in client accounts and revenue, they are currently seeking to add an experienced Test Analyst to their team.
 
You will work closely with their development team, client services and client stakeholders to ensure their bespoke software developments on both mobile and web platforms are delivered to the highest quality.
The team works to an agile process, and project requirements are detailed as user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria, enabling the test analyst to prepare, write and execute test scripts.
 
As Test Analyst you will:
  • Be able to automate as well as manually test websites, mobile apps and other software using exploratory testing techniques
  • Be able to create automated and manual test suites derived from user stories and business requirements
  • Provide written documentation (test plans) for internal and external users
  • Efficiently write bug reports
  • Have proven experience juggling multiple projects at any one time
  • Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by your manager

To succeed applying for the Test Analyst role you'll need:
  • Proven ability and experience of manual and automated testing, ideally in an agency environment
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and automated testing tools such as Selenium or LeapWork
  • Working knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodologies
  • Work flexibly to meet the demands of a client led business
  • Ability to work to deadlines and budgets
  • A strong motivation for delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Confident with natural organisational, influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and desire to succeed
  • Attention to detail
