Our client is an award-winning and market-leading North-East based digital agency, highly focussed on the importance of mobile technology, digital strategy and user experience. With an impressive portfolio of clients and strong growth to about 30 people over many years, the company is currently seeking to add an experienced UX Designer to its friendly team. This is an exciting time to join this company that is committed to ensuring their clients continually achieve the maximum benefit from their expertise in providing leading digital software solutions - a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation which is proud of its strong technical and creative background. 

As UX Designer you will work as part of a collaborative team of varied disciplines, skills and experience, working on a wide range of client projects including focus on emerging technologies such as AI and VR/Augmented Reality. 

As UX Designer your duties will include:

  • Leading UX on all key projects and initiatives
  • Driving the development of outstanding customer experiences across a wide mix of media, channels and devices
  • Regularly meeting important clients
  • Assisting in all aspects of sales, estimates, planning, devising strategies and project approaches
  • Representing the business in a thoroughly professional manner
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members

As UX Designer you’ll need to be:

  • A highly experienced, technically excellent, UX expert, with a solid commercial grounding in a similar UX Designer role, ideally with digital agency background
  • Degree qualified in a Computer Science related discipline or have the equivalent experience
  • An enthusiast in all new and emerging technology
  • Used to acting as a subject matter expert operating at a senior level
  • A professional individual, comfortable in an innovative and forward-thinking environment
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about all things UX
  • Strong in attention to detail with excellent analytical, written, problem solving, oral and diagrammatic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all teams
