Business Development Associate


Top-ranked global law firm with c.1,500 partners and lawyers in c.15 cities across the US and UK, plus strategic partnerships in Germany and France, requires Business Development Associate to continue its work with many of the largest businesses in the country, including FTSE listed and government organisations in addition to wealthy individuals.

The firm focuses its understanding, plans, activity, expertise and development on several key sectors - Energy & Natural Resources; Financial Institutions; Healthcare; Insurance, Manufacturing; Real Estate; Retail and Consumer; Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure; Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals; Technology and Private Wealth. It builds strong relationships delivering an excellent service to clients, identifying potential new business opportunities, common themes and trends that may have an impact on clients as well identifying as areas for investment to shape its service provision.

As Business Development Associate you will:


  • Supporting client targeting and relationship initiatives
  • Assisting with developing sector business and action plans
  • Undertaking research, internally and externally
  • Conducting analysis on clients, targets, markets, competitors and rankings
  • Understanding sectors, clients’ needs and drivers
  • Identifying key existing clients and targets for new business 

As Business Development Asscoiate you’ll need:


  • An excellent recent professional track record of achievement in Business Development and Marketing
  • A highly organised approach
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects
  • First class communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, delivering to deadlines, working with people across sites and in virtual teams
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • A strong focus on delivering an excellent service, business benefits and results
  • A flexible and adaptable approach 



  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000 + flexible benefits
  • To secure maximum specified pay/rewards, you must possess all outlined experience, skills and knowledge
